here are few pages of what I did during this trip, you can also see the process to make a page. Starting by the drawing  with ink or ballpoint pen, then the waterccolor. certain pages can take longtime like the butterflies page.

Travel journal n°1 Israel

Travel journal pages from Israel(2017), A4 fabriano paper, watercolor, graphite and ballpoint pen.

I did this pages back in the studio. My journal is more a retrospective travel journal. Is always to short to paint during traveling! 

 

Small Sketchbooks (2019)

I have a few small sketchbooks A6 size, that I try to take everywhere. This are what I use outside the most of the time. Some of them are hand made with watercolor paper, or I also like moleskin. Sometimes I also use a very light A5 sketchbook. These pictures are from 2019 mostly. Now I travel much less so I use small sketchbooks less.
